Rowaphos in skimmer

Question;
On the rowaphos tub it says to never use if you dont have some filter floss or something like that around the bag your keeping it in. this is if its not being ued in a reactor.
Why is this so?

i wanted to see if i could drop a bag in a spot in my HOB skimmer where i seems like it wont interupt te function of the skimmer.

maybe a dumb question, but can i do this?
Lets assume it doesnt interput the skimmers function will it be foolish to put the filter bag with ROWA in it, inside my skimmer.

theres 2 reasons u shouldnt:
1. the size of this is so small,i find no bag can contain it
it will get into ur filter ,tank,so on
2. the stuff is suppose to get low flow thru,that y reactor with a certain flow rate is recomm.
