Torch and duncan retract help

Can anyone explain why my two corals go inside themselves often??? I had a torch before and it shriveled and died. Salinity is fine and so are my levels, heater is working also. Feed pellets n frozen cubes of mysis shrimp n squid. Please help

You say your other levels are fine....

What are your other levels?
How much flow do you have in the tank?
What lighting do you have?
What fish do you have in the tank?
What temp is your tank at?
What is your salinity at? (measured with a refractometer)

maybe its the lunar wrasse they are not reef safe keep an eye on him

How long has the tank been set up and running?was it properly cycled? Other tank mates?

Been up n cycled properly for A while 6 plus months. In the tank is currently a panda goby, royal gramma, blue chromis, a clown fish and a lunar wrasse. One of these fish ate my birdsnest i hope one is not trying to do that to those

Has been eaten wtf! Whatcould it be?? I willlist every thing in the tank.

Blue chromis
Clown fish
Royal gramma
Luner(moon) wrasse
Panda goby
Turbo snails
Astreas snails
Nostrios snails
Hermit crabs( blue claw and regular)
Brittle star fish
Please help!!!!!!

Well my hermit crabs ate my gold torch and hammer when it was about to die

I'm telling you its the lunar wrasse and yes if hermits aren't getting food they will eat corals they are scavengers

Update, chromis went missin i think it jumped out n my dogs ate him... 2 of 3 colonies of Xenia wer eaten. I removed my wrasse and donated him to my local reef store. I didnt have time to sell sorry guys. But nothing has been eaten or missing since.

Sometimes your CUC will jump on the coral overnight and clean it up if it's sick or dying. This may of happened as well. Keep us posted moving forward since you got rid of the wrasse.
