Feeding flame angel

Looking to get a flame angel in the future and was just trying to research everything before I get it. I've read algae is their main diet in the wild and you should have some for them to eat but what time of algae? Would a macro algae be good and if so what kind and also would misis shrimp be suitable for one also

Seaweed on a clip. The the clip with the mesh on it. I found that helpful in keeping the seaweed from not getting pulled off the clip.

Excellent thanks for the link will definitely be getting that..what about other foods regular frozen shrimp flakes and pellets will be good also? Just to keep a variety of food in it's diet

Mine eats just about anything i put in the tank. Small pellets ocean nutrition formula 2 (green kind) , cycoplys flakes, brine shrimp and mysis
It will graze all day long on your rock work. Mine also eats copods like a pig.

There are some "small angels" foods that are not bad at all. For instance "Ocean Nutrition Pygmy Angel Formula". Although I tend to dislike anything that contains a gel to "keep in one piece"

Yea it's going in my girlfriends tank I told her she needs to choose the fish or corals and she chose the fish lol..although I heard they are fine with mushrooms and leathers

So after somtime off i am back....Anegl fish also have a need for sponge in there diet,i would get hikari frozen mega marine angel diet....also a coupe of drops off kentsgarlic extreme and you should have a happy and healthy angel
