How often do u use micro bacter?? I hold no secrets I do weekly 5 gal changes and I dose lugols an calcium and I feed coral feast and cyclopeez mixed every 3 days

And what size tank do you have? I have a 57 rimless

mine is 75g mix reef with overstocked fish. 15 gallon weekly w/c and i stop using fuel.

thanks. somehow i notice i get some brown stuff on the sand everytime i used it so. I stop using it. and I feed a lot 3x a day, I feed Rods food before the light turns on, then a cube of mysys @ noon and spiraluna brine shrimp or flakes before lights out.. I can't afford to get my Regal angel to get hungry and try my corals so far it works..

Awesome strategy , I feed 2 times daily , flakes at 6pm Monday -Friday and mysis at night before lights out , and on weekends I give the tangs seaweed strips on a veggie clip

Keeping a coral in one place (that it likes) will do wonders. They don't do as well when moved every few weeks. I would only call lighting a 'trick' since it can make corals look very different just by the flick of a switch.
