Plumbing return line manifold

Another plumbing question. I have two returns. Should I use one pvc line to both of the return and add a manifold to the longer run of PVC? At the end of the longer run will be one of the returns. Or should I add a second PVC line just dedicated for the manifold and separate the line for the returns?
