I have a 24w 4 bulb t5 fixture..right now it has 2 10k white and 2 420 actinic..to me it's too white in color..what would you guys recommend for the 4 bulbs that would be more blue or purple but would also be good for coral growth an coloration ..also it's going on a 20 long with a 20 long sump and pretty much have zoanthids and lps like lobos and welsos bubble corals ect. Thanks for the input

I ran my 20 gal long for a year with a 4 bulb fixture as 10k/blue+/10k/actinic. Had awesome growth and color, probably the best growth ive ever had in all my tanks.
Now on my 80 i have a 6 bulb as blue+/10k/blue+/10k/purple/blue+ and really like the reaction im getting from my corals. I kept the 10ks because it is obvious to me that bulb temperature is beneficial. Some go for color and trust me i would like to have all bulbs blue and have all colors poping all the time. However you must make a decision as to whats best for your eyes or what is needed by your tank. Big factor is what kind of corals you are keeping. I would replace one actinic and go with a blue + in your tank.
