The First MR Texas Hold Em Tournament was a huge success - much of that due "in whole" by Tony and his Family and their way of welcomeing the MR community by opening their doors, giving a HUGE SI welcome and hosting an awesome event (have to say T, I miss that feeling).

Special thanks to your Mom who made some awesome food, your Dad for tolerating us (I could see in his right eye he was cringing every time someone made a mistake at the table :smile, and for your whole family for sharing your :birthday:

The Winner Was Will - ooooynxwillooynxx or something like that is his screen name. Jhale, runner up (way to go J, mods repping the house) and Rori - the sleeper who would have likely won the tourney had we started it at 5pm.

House of Fish Sponsored prizes included an overall Tournament winner, highest hand, first to get knocked out and one small prize for each of the 3 left at the high stakes and low stakes table and birthday boy has a new fish - BC, where's the pics??

Post your thoughts, pics, commentary and general thanks here (even though you hard core MR's did already in the other thread).

This was one of the best MR events yet, I think it gave everyone a chance to really get to know eachother
without the pressure of trying to outbid eachother for a purple monster frag.

I think Russ even sold a few pieces of coral for next to nothing prices.

And Tonys tank provided the Reef touch in the background.
His tank looks so different(better!) from the pics he has up.

T, Thanks for having my crazy self and allowing me to stay in your house for a few lol. I know we had the "I nearly walked into the pool becuase I thought it was blue tile" incident but we'll get over that.

Your fam was great and too bad I didnt get to try any of the food but I did stock up on watermelon and tortilla chips. Thanks again Tony had a great time. And I gotta agree with J you're tanks 100x's better in person, you need to get rid of your sucky camera. *Hint : Trade your pool table for a camera*
