Let me start by saying i am realistic in regards to reef supplements. I dont buy most reef foods and when i grab one, i read the back and try to take it apart to at least make sense in buying it. I tried some out there, and am not an advocate of over feeding tanks. I have however gotten Red Sea's Reef energy AB and although skeptical in the beginning, i must say i do notice some change in SOME corals. I started using it to mainly help some sps colonies to recover from bleaching(my nephew throwing play dough in my tanks about a month ago). In that attemp i noticed my red gonipora has grown and colored significantly.
I notice that in the beginning bc this coral is always flowing with the current, with tentacles flexible in whatever direction the water goes. As soon as i add the supplement, the polyps open apart, turn sort of "wavy" and the tentacles(arms) turn against the current for a few minutes not bending or moving....
I never noticed that change (this coral)with other supp, and that is why im bringing this up. Anyone has noticed positives on this reef food?
Here are some pics, hope to have captured what i experienced..

Pumps's flow comes from left to right, so this coral has its flesh always on the direction of the flow like in this pic

As soon as i drop the food, here it is, turned against the flow

Anyways, inputs/ experiences appreciated. Im not an advocate of any brands, but this one surprised me.
