What's up Mr?

So my girlfriend is on her way to pick up a 32 gallon brute garbage can I want to use to make my rodi water. I also got the dolly that comes with it. Figured it would be easier to move around the garage if it was in my dads way. I am doing a water change tonight, then going to fill it with water. Anything I need to do beside just wipe it down and get any dust out before I fill it? If so, what?

Also. I got an auto shut off valve. I have no idea how to hook this up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just rinse the pail , if u really want you can wash it with vinegar , and for the auto shut off , there are instructions online for how to install it onto the rodi just do a quick google and then for the fkoat you just drill a hole in the can where u want it and the pure water line runs right into that

Really stupid question,

I have the unit hung on the inside wall of the garage. Right outside the garage door is the hose nozzle I use to connect it to for the water source.

The autoshut off valve would stop the water from filling the pail, even if the hose nozzle is still turned on?

I guess this works the same way as the regular nozzles you connect to the hose itself, like when you're washing your car or something and screw it tight?

Ok so I have the brs one but it looks different than in the video because I have a pressure guage and Tds meter. From the pictures, where does the auto shut off valve get installed?
I'm doing this now so the faster the reply the better. I appreciate it so much
