Tek light broke?

My 6 bulb tek light is all the sudden not really turning on. First I had to keep flipping the switch to get all the bulbs on that switch to turn on. Now the switch for just the front and back bulbs won't stay on either. They kinda jus keep flashing every 5 seconds or so. I kinda hear a (sizzle) noise on the main switch. Is it time to scrap it or can this be fixed? Thanks in advance

Ballast went out... need to replace.

I'm rebuilding a 36" 8 bulb tek fixture now. 4 new ballast 16 new bulb connectors. What you are describing sounds like a bad switch.

The blues front back bulb always been fine till this morning. Now they act like a strobe light lol. The rest of the bulbs from the daylight switch only lights up 2 bulbs and u can here a kinda sizzling noise like I'm gonna get shocked or something been like that for a while and this morning it finally crapped out. Is t worth fixing or should I just go with a different fixture? Found a good deal on a ATI power module 8 bulb for $450 shipped. But might be overkill on my 75

Of course now I come home and thy all work normal.

our tek light is acting up right now to it goes on and then just shuts off. soo im only running 2 blubs.. i dont no whats wrong with it!

Both fixtures sound like a ballast issues. I think I have one or two brand new ballast.
