DSA 105 Rimless water level

Hello

A question how do i lower the water in the tank because the water level on the DSA 105 rimless is about an inch from the rim and every time i work in there water spills and its hard ot turn on the mp40's to make a wave cause water will overflow.

Any ideas, maybe cut the wholes in the overflow a little deeper ?

I just looked at a picture of an overflow from another dsa 105. It looks like the holes are pretty high. Cutting them a little might be your only option.
What size return pump are you using. Possibly slow that down a little.

i had the same problem with my 60 cube and the problem was solved by turnig down my pump a litte

+1 put a valve on output of pump and turn it down until you have desired level.

great i have to get a valve then to slow the flow because i have Danner Model 12 Supreme 1200 GPH

That is a lot of flow. You could also T off the return and have some go back into the sump. Some pumps don't like to be restricted.

what size pump would you recommend for 105 gallon tank

i actually have a Eheim Compact+ 3000 from my old tank will this give me enough flow or is it to little.

That should be enough. You don't really want a lot of flow through the sump.
