Hello everyone. I am moving in a few months and may need to downsize to a smaller tank. I am not happy about this but, it is what it is....

I wanted opinions on nano set ups....(assuming I can't fit my current set up in the new Apartment-which is highly probable)

Which ones do you recommend? Res Sea Max 34 gallon?? I really don't want anything smaller than 29 gallons...

I have had the biocube, aquapod and the Solana. I love the Solana. There are a couple for sale here at great prices on them. You will love the cube shape. The other tanks have curved corners and they are tough to clean. The Solana doesn't and it is very easy to clean.

Just bought my biocube2 days ago and I love it! In the first chamber I threw in my heater, and some purigen. In the second chamber I plan on getting a CPR SR3 skimmer. Then in making a refugium out of the third chamber

biocubes and all-in-one set ups are nice but none except the nuvo are the long rectangle shape that i personally thing looks the best w/ a reef.

if i was you i would get a 29gal-45 gal (whatever fits), drill it, and get a 10-20gal sump.

simple, and clean and inexpensive (way more room for equipment).

just my $.02, good luck

Again I can only speak with my limited experience of owning a Biocube 29, Biocube 14, Aquapod 24, Aquapod 12, and the 34 Solana. Very limited experience but the Solana is the better all in one tank in my experience and opinion.

Thanks! Moving the current set up is going to be a pain...I have a little time so I have to make some decisions....hopefully I can get into the new place a few weeks before I have to move the fish - maybe just get a new tank and transfer the live sand, rock, and then fish....
I will look into the 60 cube - I want something not your typical standard...I have a 55gallon long..

Cubes are cool in fact you have some depth to play with rock work, hope goes well moving blows
