Ghost shrimp in SW tank?

I picked up a small Long nose Hawk fish today and know that many people have difficulty feeding these guys but they love shrimp. Ghost shrimp ar 3 for a dollar at my LFS. I was thinking about going and getting 15 of these guy, drip acclimating for 2-3 hours and adding them to my tank did the hawkfish to eat. Would this work or would the ghost shrimp die in an hour or two. Is it normal for the hawkfish to be a bit inactive when first added to the tank?
