Controller Questions

I'm looking to take the plunge and buy a controller for the tank. What is everyone's thoughts on the Apex and Reefkeeper? I don't need to contol my lights since I have the AI Sol with the controller or my Vortech. I was thinking the Apex Lite but i'm not sure. Thoughts?

IMO as with ur aquarium the controller is an upgradeable gadget. U have the ai control but u can control ur lights unless u are with the controller in ur hands or ur Vortech for that matter thats when u will like to upgrade so u can control them out of ur house Isn't that the reason u want a controller in the first place??? Down the line u will like a camera to monitor it when u go away or when u r working. Save ur self a headache and time and go for the full Apex

i will go with a full apex as well. it have I/O which u can connect your ATO, VDM, incase u want to diy leds or control pumps. extra ph probe slot incase u have a cal reactor. i dont see why you would go for a reefkeeper. and did i mention reefkepper only have 4 outlet per powerbar?

++1 on the FULL Apex you can get additional modules for a great price and the control is worth it.
