I have been checking the calcium level, it looks like too high, its now at somewhere 500. I did a water change 2 times in last week with 10% of water each time last week.

It still up at 500..why? I didn't add anything but mixing salt and water.

Help...!?

Change your test kit. Check again. Only other things to do is:

1: Nothing. It will go down on its own if you dont dose. High levels of calcium will eventually precipitate out of the water or will be taken up by the organisms in the tank. The only problem I see is "what are your other parameters ?"

2: water changes.

cal is 500
but what is the alk and magnesium....

also i would have someone check ur water for you... with different test kits to see what they get vs. ur's...

i see ur using oceanic salt, just to let you no they are usually on the high side of calcium... masterswimmer could say yes to that ;)
