So I have a 29 gal tank with a pair of clowns and an algae blenny. I added a YWG and the blenny went insane and kept chasing it. I put the YWG in a fluval edge I had for quarentining. He is pretty small so he was fine and my cleaner shrimp was always cleaning his mouth. About 5 days later I put him back but the same thing occurred. This time, I put the blenny in the small tank. It's been 2 days, should I rearrange the rock work and add him back? Or will one fish have to go?

I already told you it can't work that's why I said no fire fish as well. The tanks to small for them to coexist in some cases you can mix blennys and gobies I have two together, changing the rock work is not gonna cut it they are too territorial. If It was my decision I'd get rid of the watchmen algae blennys have awesome personalities. Keep in mind they have been known to nip at sps and clams I've never seen it though. Watchmen hide alot and are not too outgoing.

I put them together about an hour ago, it seemed to work. The blenny went over to the goby to fight him, instead of running away the goby nipped him once and then they both just sorta sat next to each other for a few minutes. I uncovered the blennies cave and he swam in there and that's where he is now. The goby is in his own cave. Hopefully they have come to an understanding, I'll keep an close eye on them and if they continue fighting I'll give one away.
