2 part solution

How come my calcium stock solution has some brownish particules at the bottom of the container after a few days? It was clear when it was first made. I used the dow's pellets.

hmmmmm... could be just that the pellets were dirty for lack of other words... i think there was a problem even with someone using a batch of dowflake that they would get a brown film uptop after mixing... i would say the pellets contain some dirt from production......

is this the 1st batch of the pellets u are doing or has this happened before...

your not suppose to get brown. it is suppose to turn clear. I had a batch with brownish on top and i threw that batch away.

It mixed clear initially, but in a few days it has brownish particules at the bottom.

Does it need to be mixed at all times. Would a Powerhead help out if you can add it to you mix?
