Which one would you prefer?

A tank say by 60x18x 26 = 120 gallons or
48 x 24x24 = 120 gallons or 180 gallons= 72x24x24.
I only wish they made 60 x24x24 about 150 gallons.
A 5 foot tank which not to big would be a nice measurement tank in length and width. What do you guys think?

Same, length gives you more to room to work with and allows more swimming room.

I had a custom built 60x24x27h 170g which was a great tank... I sold it to Mike NY ... and he turned it into a Tank of the Month...
IMO, for aquascaping, depth (front to back) is more important than length.
With tanks 12" or 18" front to back, it's hard to build anything other than a 'rock wall'...24" and over is the way to go!

That's cool Albano, I used to work with Mike Ny. Great guy loves his fish and coral. He's the one that got me hooked on to SPS. Now addicted in this hobby. That tank you gave MIke Ny is a perfect size tank. In height and width and dept. Awesome tank.....it must of cost a penny to customize a tank.

If you have room for another foot, Marineland has a standard 265 that measures 84x24x27.

Love my 180. 72x24x24 I have had nothing but luck with it. The only other tank I had ever done well with besides the 180g was the 40g breeder tank. The dimensions on both tanks are perfect IMO .

go for the 180 nice size. i have the tank your looking for 60x24x24=150g.
they make a 220g 72x30x24high, if i upgrade thats the tank i'll get.
