pump on protein skimmer broke!

I have a bubble magus NAC 3+. THe pump that came with it was an atman 1100. It just gave out....Does anyone know where I can get a pump that will fit this skimmer? I really need one asap. THanks.

If it is designed for that skimmer and is somehow built into the frame of it , you may have to get the exact same pump ! or plumb it to an external pump

Do a search for that pump and comparable pumps.

I had atman pumps and after a while they dont start right up, have to clean them often.

You may be able to replace that Atman for a Sicce, check the specs but in either case you can buy the Atman replacement online by doing random searches until you find a store in the States.

tagging- my nac7 pump is acting up also..it comes on for about 30 secs then just stops.idk whats going on

If your pump is acting up I say clean it and see if that does the trick

I usually run them in vinegar for hours to clean them, no need to take apart

If your problem is as bad as you indicate then open the impeller cover and inspect the impeller magnet and shaft

Pure white vinegar, buy the gallon jugs at the supermarket and some cheap rubbermaid 10 gallon rectangular container.

The vinegar will remove all types of build up in the pump shaft and will also leave your acrylic looking like new.
