Someone start a Brooklyn thread with a clever title, a place where we can discuss frag swaps and things of the sort.

There is a Brooklyn forum, you can start a thread in there like the people from SI have done in the SI forum, but you can't use that forum to sell things, that's what the For Sales forum is for. You can put Brooklyn in the title of your thread in the For Sale forum, which will help people know that you're from Brooklyn, then again when you're selling things you don't want to cut out people from other areas that may want to buy your items.

One more question, in the Staten Island thread I see frags being given away and people trading things, would that be allowed in the thread started in the Brooklyn forum as well? Thanks.

In the SI thread they discuss the Frag Swaps that we have, which will be coming up soon, look for the announcement, they also discuss getting together and helping frag one another corals, where they may also trading between one another. They also are topics where people are asking for help with things, like moving tanks and setting up equipment. You will also see posts on trips to LFS, where people may want to share rides/costs and such. All of these things are OK, as long as people don't start making posts saying I just fragged some corals and they're for sale, that wouldn't be allowed.

Trading is OK, lets just not turn the thread into a Brooklyn flea market type thread, otherwise it would belong in the For Sale forum.

I'm going to close this thread, as a new thread has already been started in the Brooklyn forum. I'll move the last couple of posts into that thread.
