I have had my reef tank for almost a year now.. Happened to come by this site and thought it would be fun.. I used to live out in NJ and worked in NY everyday.. So its gonna be fun to see the differences in the corals from different states.. Just thought I would post a Hello!

75g display, 20g sump, separate 15g refugium.. with 2 x 250w HQI 14K Hamiltons supplemented with 2 x 110w VHO super actinics, Euroreef CS180 protein skimmer, CA1800 return pump (cheap, i know but it does its job very well for several months now with no problem), 3 MJ1200's, approx. 130 - 150lbs of LR, and as of august - no fish due to an ich outbreak.. I removed them all and took up to a LFS for a good copper treatment and will be letting them sell the fish when treatment is over.. I am picking up a mystery wrasse tomorrow after work for $110!! I am excited about that (both the fish and the price)!! All levels are 0 and I have been running UV for 3 weeks now 24/7 with no problems whatsoever to be sure the ich is gone! All water flows thru the overflow, down the tubes, into the sump where the heater, skimmer, phosphate reactor, and UV is, then flows thru a bulkhead into the refugium where 100% of that water flow is filtered by chaeto and caulerpa and pumped back into the display.. Unfortunately I dont have the room in my stand for the sump and fuge so it sits on the floor next to the tank.. Gives it the scientific look IMO.. LOL

the 2nd from bottom pic with the orange zoanthids are ones that I named and are on zoaid.com.. they are called Tequilla Sunrise Zoanthids.. And they go for $10/polyp.. Have sold quite a few since they got on zoaid, and plan to spread them around as much as possible.. I had a few auctions on ebay where I shipped some to TN with regular UPS ground where they got there in 2 and a half days during the hot part of this summer.. Packed em with a ice pack (which melted fast im sure) and they had "warm to the touch" water when they arrived, but are doing great from what the buyer tells me, so I am happy with that!

As for experience, I started the hobby in January, but have gained TONS of knowledge by answering questions for people by doing research for them.
