What's up everyone,

So yesterday I noticed that my Pagoda was partially closed up. I just figured it was a hermit crab that walked across it, being there was one chillen on a rock near by. Today i came home from work & all polyps are closed up completely!! I am bety upset about this. I have only had the coral in my system for a little over a week.(Sat will actually be 2 weeks) at first the coral was looking great all polyps were open & great color. The color still looks good, just no polyps.
I haven't target fed it anything, but I have been using Phyoplex every other day.

I have never had a Pagoda & have no idea what is going wrong with it. Tested the water & it seems ok to me. Ph 8.2, Ammonia 0 ppm, Nitrate between 10-15.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Frankie

Wow! Not one person with an opinion or suggestion? Very unusual for MR.... Or maybe it's because the thread isn't about an led light or something. Not sure, but I do know this.... I am concerned about this coral & want to do whatever I can to help it..... But I'm not sure what needs to be done, so please don't make me beg!! Anyone who can help or even just aim me in the right direction I would be very grateful. Thanks

Yellow is sooooo pretty lol

The pagodas I have don't like being disturbed and take a while to get used to a new spot when moved around.

Assuming your water parameters are good and that you have the pagoda position low to mid level in your tank give it a week or two and it should come around.

If you don't know your water parameters or have the coral way up high close to the lights rethink it.

The color is purple looking, Not deep purple though. The water is ok I think. I post the numbers in first post. I do have it on top of a rock, not sure how high u guys consider high. I'll post a pick of the coral when it was open.

This is what it looks like today. It's still purple & sometimes a polyp will try to open up but that's the extent of it. Wish I knew what was going on with it

I have no idea.... If u look at the first pic with the polyps out & look underneath them u can see it looks blue there too. I thought it looked purple, but whatever close enough. Lol what do u think I could be causing it not to open up?

Not sure. Have to look tomorrow, lights are off now. Let me ask you opinion on something else. What do u think is a good test kit? Meaning what should I be testing for besides the basics? Magnesium, calcium, phosphate? I want to buy a good test kit..... I heard API isn't that great.
