Dorm room tank

So I moved into my dorm in college and im missing my tank at home. I was considering trying to build a small nano tank. I was looking at the JBJ Cubey 3 to put in my room. I was planning to not keep a lot of live stock. Maybe two clowns and an anemone or possibly a dwarf seahorse and a few zoas or leathers. Something simple. My plan is to run the JBJ Cubey with live sand and some rubble rock. and for the water (because i obviously dont have enough room to mix and make water) use nutri sea water. I ran the numbers and for the amount of water that I would be using after the initial fill it would be a wash. My question is do you think that this would work? Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks

Id suggest doing something very simple and hardy. Enjoy the college experience and dont put yourself in position to worry about a tank. I did 10 g freshwater tank to keep myself content. At end of year i gave fish away to some friends and packed the no frills setup for the next year. Not sure about your school, but mine didnt allow prts

Yea i def want to keep it simple for the dorm. but im planning on getting an apartment this summer to finish my senior year. So i figured i tough it out for the rest of fall and then not do anything till the spring because no one would be there to take of it over winter break.

I would not recommend a dwarf seahorses tank. While they are an amazing species, they are the opposite of low maintenance and automation is not really possible.

Don't do it. Nanos aren't worth it and you will only miss your tank more. Just my advice.

I would do only corals to keep things simple and easy, at most a cleaner shrimp

Invert isn't bad idea....I would hold off for the apt.
