Slightly Unleveled Tank Biocube 29 Gallon

First, thanks to everyone I've met and talked to that's been super helpful in giving me advice about fish and coral care. :groupflip

My stocked tank is roughly 1/4" unleveled. As far aesthetics go, it doesn't bother me at all because the tank hood hides this. Would someone explain the static load how it can have adverse effects on the tank, which can potentially cause a crack?
Can someone explain the physics behind this in lucid terms?

my son was supposed to figure it out with his physics talents he hasn't yet, you know the story. i was talking with him about additional stress from out of level he doesn't think its much but will figure it out. personally i don't think 1/4" will do anything. iv owned tanks for over 20yrs and not one of them was level and need cracked one [yet]. i current tank 150g is over 1/4" out left to right. i wouldn't worry about it, but thats me.

i guess your better off spot on. but i feel shimming one side leaves no support in middle of stand.
