Protein Skimmer doesnt make skimmate!

HELP! So my pump died and I replaced it with the same exact model (Atman 1100) on my Bubble Magus NAC 3+. I also give my pump a nice vinegar bath. Now the entire section of the sump bubbles and it doesnt look like its producing skimmate even though it foams all the way to the neck of the skimmer like it should. Am I doing something wrong? Does it just need to break in? Am I worrying for nothing?

is the pump leaking, that seems like a lot of bubbles in sump.

No leaks. I took it out and checked it.

did you buy the same pump with a needle wheel impeller? or did you buy with regular impeller.

If you have the right pump and the bubbles are coming up to the bottom of the skimmer cup then give your skimmer time to break in.

In regards to your sump water looking so white, are you sure you installed the pump correctly, looks as if the bubbles are being released into the sump and not the skimmer

Well in regards to the white bubble water in the sump, if my gate valve is opened all the way thats what my sump would look like.

+1 on the leak. Also after a vino bath it takes time to break in as the micro bubble don't cling as well to the clean plastic. Check for a leak, check the impeller, and give her some time 24-48 hours.

10 years ago I have an Aqua Medic Turbo 1000 I think, it took 3 weeks to break in, micro bubbles every where.

Ensure proper installation and give it time.

When my nac7 breaks in it releases bubbles from the bottom but normally not that much,and the cup overfills constantly for about 1-2 days.

How often do you clean the collection cup? Seems the neck is caked up with protein and harder for it to froth over.

I'm going to clean the collection cup tonight I feel like the pump is disengaging from the acrylic part of the skimmer. Im honestly almost about to.give up on this skimmer. Anyone repair skimmers?

You mean the impeller is lose or the bubble plate is not fitted correctly? If you bring it over, I'll help you figure out and fix the problem.

Ok, so i cleaned the cup and the neck. Hopefully this helps. It looks like its foaming and a healthy rate. Hopefully this works. Heres a pic:

The only other thing I can think of is that the skimmer came with a custom impeller and when it broke I am now using the stock impeller. Could that make the difference? Just to be safe I ordered the custom impeller that the skimmer originally came with which I found on ebay. I should have it by next week. This is the custom impeller:
