:supermad: Tyson, my beloved Tuskfish has gone missing. I cant find him anywhere. He has jumped before, but I don't see him in my overflow or around the back of the tank. I don't want to jump to conclusions but Bruce wasn't very hungry at feeding time tonight. He usually swims right up to the top of the tank as soon as I lift the hood. Not tonight though. I had to put a silver side right into his mouth before he would eat it, then he only ate 3. Usually he eats around 15 of them. I am so pissed of right now its not even funny. I got him from the FB when I was still going in there. Has to be at least 3 years ago. Damn!!! Damn!!! Damn!!! I'm just sick to my stomach.
I think i know what happened. I moved the elegance into the corner last night to see if it would respond to a new location. In doing so, I believe I barricaded one of his escape routes. The eel must have taken advantage of this and the tusk just fell victim to circumstance.
She will be missed.

That would be great if he was hiding. But i highly doubt it. He is usually the first one to eat when I feed, and he was nowhere to be found. Did i mention that he has had a 3' eel as a tank mate for the past 3 years?

Depending on the eel, it's very possible it could have eaten, it but since they've been together for 3 years it probably would have happen already, specially at night as most eel look for food at night, once the lights go off. Also you should notice that the eel has a big lump in it's stomach.

I would look around the tank as the fish probably jumped out and flop around before drying out.

Sorry Steve. It was beautiful fish.:(

Thanks guys. Yeah Tom. You saw him. He was pretty sweet. He was my first addition after the eel, so I have had him forever. I cant say how pissed off I am.

Im 99% sure that the eel finally took advantange of the opportunity and ate him. Its not like my Dragon to not eat when i offer food and I really doubt he was too upset to eat.
