Pencil wrasse ?

Matt I bet if you add another one and or remove those large rabbits that it may color up again....many fish keep a "low profile" drab coloration so not to draw attention especially with no mate around and larger more aggressive fish.

i have one in stock right now eating everything, but i have to agree not a fish i would normally carry because of its poor survival rate. prove us all wrong rooting for you.maybe its one of those times you hit on 18 and get dealt a two. best of luck harry

Hi mike I would be over the moon if I could catch the rabbits I'm gonna try ur trick with an empty pretzel keg i think one would go in but the larger yellow spot is so careful and seems to be pretty smart

Also next time I see the avail I'll add 2 see what happens they r peaceful nice fish very active constantly swimming so I think its one those fish really needs to eat 5 or so times a day

So yesterday my power went out so I go down to check on tank I hear flopping in tank turs out my pencil wrasse must been spooked jumped out landed on over flow box cover unfortunately it looks like his fins might have burned by the salt creep that had built up on the cover I saw him yesterday hoping he's still alive today...

If it's eating it should be fine ...I had fish go through a lot worse than that and pull through ....
