New tank gonna go through blooms?

I have my 225 up running for 2 months about sand bed getting brown!!
Question is I know new tanks go through different algae blooms is this avoidable with Gfo etc or this just the way it is???

I have never had a tank that didn't go through a bloom or two. Had several over the years, the current tank had a bloom that came and went. Have anything in tank yet livestock wise?

Yes have a few fish 10 maybe!

Just a diatom bloom. Every tank goes through it

your tank is fine..it's going through a normal cycle and you just increased the bio-load with more fish and coral...your biological filtration has to catch up ...plus you don't have a good skimmer, full fuge or phosban reactor running yet.

Phosban reactor going online proably this afternoon !
Skimmer being order in a week !
I don't think I'm gonna grow macro this time around maybe down the road when I can set up a tank but right now only place I could do it is in the sump and it becomes filled with detritus !
