removeing a carpet from a rock

im having a hair algea problem in my 60 cube. I have tried a few suggestions but im down to bleaching some of my rocks ... im not able to remove a carpet from one of the rocks any suggestions ?

Insert two new rocks on each side next to the carpet and it should move on to it so then you can remove it alltogheter with the rock. I tried it with a bubble tip and it worked. good luck

Try to put a powerhead facing to the anemone. When its starts to move just try to remove slowly massage the bottom you would be able to take it out easily as when its base is out from hole of the rock

Put a butter knife in the freezer overnight. Anemones don't like the cold and you can easily pry it off.

I was going to say put some ice in a ziplock bag and put it near the foot of the nem. He will let go almost immediately in shock. Then do your thing.

1st off... wear gloves...
Hang the anemone upside down with tentacles in the water. He will eventually start to remove himself from the rock.

use ice cube to scratch its root. It will come off around 15min. I did this before when my anemone attached to my glass bottom.I can't put my tank upside down the shake it off

I tried hanging him upside down . it looked like he would release any second but he just hung in there. I turned the power head on him and he finally released. thanks for all the advise im sure on any given day each one of the suggestions would work
