Hello fellow reefers I have a small problem I'm upgrading from my 120 to a 220 and making this tank 98% sps and acros my question is my current skimmer only does up to 160 gallons but i also have a recirculating one that does up 135 so i was wondering if i run both will that remove too much from the tank or can i get away with running just the diablo XS160 please hlep guys looking to set this tank up in the next three weeks also how can i keep from sending the current corals into shock i was gonna use all the water from the 120 and have two buckets of fresh saltwater made up and running on justa pump until time to place into the tank :scratch::scratch:

I just changed out a Tunze 9020 which is essentially two 9010's in the same housing. It was a pia but probably because my 105g was too small. I went with a single RO 160.

i think im just gonna go with the diablo for right now until i can get the bigger skimmer since that one does up 160 gallons it should do a little good i figure thats better than having nothing at all and as long as i keep up on my water changes i think i will be fine a little nutrient in the tank shouldn't hurt the SPS
