Protein skimmer buying advice

Hey all

Im looking for advice on buying a new external protein skimmer for a300 gal reef, mainly sps and polyps. Brands that are still beingmanufactured or at least what to look for in an external protein skimmer. Suggestions...

I'm actually a huge fan of the reef octopus diablos with DC pumps. Check them out. If you wind up going internal you have dual controls to help deck with possible water depth availability issues.

With the DC pumps you can throttle them back as well so your gate valve isn't your only control. They also skim like beasts.

For the money they're my first choice.
