I was able to get some on Amazon a while back...

...though I found that PVC pipe works great. I built H-frames out of 3/4 pipe and a lot of T fittings. Dirt cheap stuff.

Inspired by Dr. Paul Whitby's presentation at last year's Fall Swap, some of which can be found here:

I highly recommend parts 1 and 2 as well. Fascinating stuff. Dr. Paul gets all the credit for my aquascape looking as good as it does.

I'm happy with it. Drilling the rock is a fair amount of work and makes a MESS so be prepared. Eye and ear protection is a must. I live in an apartment and had to do it on a balcony...that was...an experience. LOL

But yeah the frames are strong though once built. Yes you should glue the fittings together or else stuff might sag over time. If you want to make big stacks, the frames are great and as long as you are using some kind of sand, the feet of your frames will be covered. PS I used 3/4 couplers to act as feet at the end of each bottom stand just to make things easy. The 3/4 couplers were like 3$ for a pack of 10 or something nuts. You can also use caps, but keep in mind water has to be able to flow into the frames or they will want to float :)

I also highly recommend Marco Rock's mortar stuff (and their rock for that matter) It dries hard as rock...well it is rock right. Helps fill in the gaps and you can also mold it into shapes and use it as a binder. Dries under water too though I'm not sure I'd use it INSIDE a tank that's full of living critters.
