Okay, in the spirit of upgrading. I went from a 2.2 gallon tank to a 3.2 gallon tank. Now the hard part. Do i have to cycle my new 3.2 tank? Do i have to wait a month, or can i use the sand and coral from the old tank into the new one. Please help me asap, i would like to upgrade today or tommrow :) :splitspin :yo:

um since it so small, why not drain the water into a bucket, put the LR in there and corals, then move the sand over and add it back in. top off w/ some new salt water. 1g up, such a manly thing :)

That has to be one of the biggest upgrades i have ever seen, LOL. The only issue might be the sand, as for the live rock, you can move it over with no problems. The cycle should be minimal, if any. But by disturbing the sand bed, that might be a totally different ballgame.
