GIANT emerald crab

I added 2 emerald crabs to my reef about 2 months ago, I saw one last week, pulled it out and sumped it. Tonight while feeding, I saw a HUGE claw come out from the rockwork.

I'm not exaggerating, this thing got HUGE!!! Like 3 inches across on the body.

Not sure whether to tear apart rock work or leave it be?

Advice?

ask yourself that same question when you start to see some of your fish missing. lol

I snuck up on it tried to grab it with large tweezers. I pulled one of it's claws off. Was 3/4 the size of my thumb.

A full grown emarld crab is able to take down a fish with its 2 big claws. Just a heads up on when you start missing fish.

Well, he only has 1 claw for now, so I should be able to get him out before he can cause a fish death...

Would a mantis trap work? I setup a bottle trap, with no luck last night, I can try again.
