Funny thing I noticed on my 65 gallon rimless tank with a foam mat.
In the center of the tank, it's possible for me to slip a rigid postcard between the foam mat and wood stand. On the edges, it's not possible for me to do that.
This tells me then that all the weight are completely on the sides which sort of makes sense since the stand itself has no center bracing. The tank itself is level.
Is that working as designed?
