Well I have decided to start a tank thread. I will start by explaining the tank and then some of the gear I have along with how I am using the gear and some of the changes I would like to do to the tank and get some advice from people. The tank is 105 gallons 48x24x21 custom made and is 3 sided starfire. The over flow box I made myself and its made of 5/8" black acrylic and black egg crate. It has 2 1" drains one of the drains has a 1" gate valve. The return is also 1" and I will be adding a check valve as soon as I decide which check valve to use (might go with Georg Fischer Wye Check Valve). The canopy I got from another reefer who had it made by a furniture company and it was made beautiful and very sturdy with a full front lift for access to the tank along with 5 fans 3 for cooling and 2 for draining the heat from the tank. The stand was made with 2x3 and 2x6's and Skinned in pinewood (I still need to make the doors and the molding). The sump is a 40B that I put 2 partitions to separate the sump for the skimmer and return. I have a custom LED from Rapid Led I am using 6 ELN 60-48D to power the 24 White, 24 Blue, 20 UV , 4 Red and 4 Green leds. The lights are being controlled With an Neptune Apex Controller. I am using 2 MP40's for flow and a Reef Octopus 10000W Water Blaster for Circulation and running my manifold. My tank is being cleaned with a Vertex Alpha 170 w/ Auto Cleaner and red Dragon Pump and I am running Bio Pellets with a Reef Octopus Media reactor and last is my RoboSnail from Aqua Genesis to keep my front glass clean so I can enjoy the tank a little more. Here are some pictures I will try to update the thread once a month unless people have questions or leave comments or I add fish or corals.

Nice setup man. Good job. Wire ties and the plastic squares work great for making a wiring harness to keep it all neat. If you're going to keep them all together you can actually get the cable holders that have 2 sided tape and are a loop that clicks closed and is easy to open to change up the wiring without having to redo wire ties, just open the loop, reroute or whatever you do and clamp back closed.

Good luck with it.

Up date for the tank:
I started a hypo salinity since I have a few tangs and I noticed ich on one of them. So instead of trying to catch the fish and QT them I decided to go this route since I had no corals and no inverts. I did add some new fish to the tank and I will up date my live stock list tomorrow when I get up.

A little update on the tank. Hypo is going good so far no sign of any ich since day 2 and all fish are looking healthy and are eating great. I do feed them my home made food that I made last week I will post a thread about my food in a few min. with some pics. I also upgraded my lights since xmas came early for me from my family they got me a radion package, 2 Radion pros, short rails, hanging kit and a reef link. I love them alot lol
