Hi Everyone,

One side of my lights is not working. Does anyone have any experience replacing it? Or is it even worth replacing?

How many lights(65w?) is on that side and what pin configurations is it?

is it a 2 lamp fixture switch the lamps to see if its the lamp or ballast

Yup, What FRY said. Switch the bulb to the other socket to see if its the bulb or ballast.

It's not the bulbs, so i assume it's the ballast. How can I replace that if cost efficient?
The fixture is 4 bulbs (4 straight pins).

what make and model of fixture and what lamps are you useing

If its 4 bulbs, I'm assuming 2 bulbs per switch? and both bulbs on 1 side aren't turning on? and is it 65W per bulb? or 96W per bulb? They require different ballast.

it's 65w per bulb. it's a JBJ model. Yes, there are 2 bulbs per switch. And yes, there are 2 bulbs not turning on vertically (meaning the lights are not adjascent to each other.

You should be able to replace it with a Workhorse 6 ballast (rated for up to 140W)

In general, including shipping and all (not including your labor) is about $45. You weight your priority now.

I have same dilenma before and end up leaving the light laying around and made myself a LED array.
