Here's the thing soon will be on my way to a new tank soon, but can't make up my mind on which LEDs to go with. I had AI sol blue on my other tank and was happy wit them.. But as we all know thing change and have to advance wit the newer items. The tank most likely be a 300dd by Marineland.

Im testing out a AI hydra now on my frag tank currently, in hopes of purchasing 5-6 more for my display once my home renovations are complete. So far I love the full spectrum I get with the hydra. I believe this light is perfect for deep water species that prefer lower par/full spectrum light (chalices, acans, certain zoas, etc). While im certain it can grow sps, not sure what the par is on the lower end of a 24-30" deep tank.

Yes they do sybrise sunset midday actuakly u can have like 27 setting when using the apex its fully controllable ..the only thing u can't do is a moonlight .because u can only dim up to 14% anything lower and they turn off ..to me 14% is to much for a moonlight ..I'm going to get a set of the apex moonlights anyways
