If LEDs suck so much why do all the stores u buy your sps from all use LEDs? Lol let me guess u buy them brown and turn em into colorful pieces w cheap t5's from 15 yrs ago. If u still don't use LEDs by now u prob also have a flip phone and watch black n white tv.

because t5's will grow anything, ive used about every type of lighting and can say from experiance some corals just dont do well under led's plus personally t5's give the best color if using the right bulb config.

What experience do you actually have with different lightings? Comparing LED to T5 is comparing oranges to apples. The linear source of T5 actually compliments point source LED or halide etc.

One store that uses T5's on their tank.... Manhattan aquariums SPS frag tanks. Funny because they have LED on all their other tanks.... I wonder why (I actually know why)

That's for 3reasons.

1) electric bills,
2) cost of bulb replacement and
3) stores dont plan on keeping corals to grow out, they plan to move them fast so it's all about making them pop to sell faster.
