Hey guys what you guys think about this unit, I found this on ebay and price is pretty decent for what they are selling.. These are full spectrum led's and this fixture has 2 80w led's with optic and comes with dimmer on top.. This can be used for frag tank or reef tank that does not have much room in canopy. I though I should share this with you guys.....

Thanks,

Rav

I dont know if this would be good in a short canopy. It looks like multi-chip led with a 70 degree optic. Looks like it would need to be high to get a good spread. Depends on the size of tank, etc.

I wouldn't really call it full spectrum as its only one color blue and no UV. Red and green are just to pop colors. That being said it looks pretty good I think the white to blue ratio is a little high but it is using 10k whites so they have more blue in them. However I would prefer 4500-6000k white with a higher blue ratio to get more of the red spectrum. I have actually been consulting with the largest COB manufacturer on just this.

i wouldnt go with it.

i would go with this. This guy is very good with responce time, KNows his stuf you can call him up and speak to him if you would like. There verywell known and for a fullspectrum light and low budget i would go with these. DM-132E for the cost its worth it.

IMO that layout looks really bad and the manufacturer of those isn't the best. That being said people seem to like them and I have no personal experience so can't really knock it without trying it.

They are really ncie and call us from time to time to make sure everything is okay with the lights. sucks to see how they dropped from 315$ to 180 in less thena year ... :/ but thats the market. and how things go down i have no complaints with them im sure she does not either Growing SPS and LPS and softys like no tomorrow. so we are happy. If your looking for a Full spectrum cheap light look into Rapid LED Onyx units. I have them over my tank and have noticed a severe growth difference from my T5's
Let me know if you want to take a look.
