Thank you for the review!

One question comes to mind right away: I know jellyfish do not really care about light, but is there a way to turn it on/off automatically?

Second question: I think the possibility to plug to a sump or a chiller is a very good idea: do you plan to connect your own tank to a chiller?

Damn I knew there was something I forgot to put in the review!!! lol. No there is no automatic on/off and you can't use a timer either because the pump is on the same electrical line. You are right though, I don't think the jellyfish care at all.

A sump would be nice to have, but in my situation, I have no room given all the real estate the other tanks take up in my office. I am considering a canister filter.

I am a Jellyfish neophyte so my husbandry knowledge is very limited. They eat small planktonic foods. Brine shrimp nauplii seem to be suggested as the best if you can be bothered, but they also will take things like Reef Nutrition ROE, Cyclopeeze and a powdered food that Cubic sells.

I think they live a year or so.

ooh, this is cool. I've always wanted to keep jellies. Some movie I saw many moons ago displayed a cool tank. I think the lights are for us. Just for fun.

Let me check on how much this will break the bank!

I'm especially interested in researching to see if the water parameter requirements are similar to my current tank, what chemicals (filtration like phosban, carbon, prodibio, etc too) are they sensitive to.

You know? Like, do I need to have an extreme focus on water quality like with SPS or not

--edit, husbandry of it seems simple enough and similar to what we already do.
Price tag 1,299 on polylab site is out of my range for now. But this is neat.
They have a few retailers as close as upstate (far) NY too.

I'll probably just head over to your office to see it though.

Let us know when you get the jellies!
