So I added my flame hawkfish into my biocube 29, and I see a few small specks of what I think is ich. They are little white dots. The tank is at 82 degrees as it always is. Fish is active, and even ate 2 far lice laced mysis shrimp. Hiding in a burrow right now. The tank has 2 clownfish, a bengaii cardinal fish, and a melanurus wrasse. Also has softies and many LPS. What should I do? The fish only has a bit of ich, so specks of face and 2 fins.

Both tanks are now contaminated. You will have to quarantine all fish by either method below. Tanks will have to be without fish for 10 weeks.

- Hypo-salinity
- Copper
- TTM (Tank Transfer Method) - The method I use

A side note.
You are going to read lots of different opinions on getting rid of ich. You just have to do what is best for you and the fish. Some people don't have the time or space to deal with the problem and just live with it. I couldn't, so I took all my fish out from the tank and quarantine doing the TTM. I now have a ich/disease free tank.

Good point :
With ick it's all about the patiance to give the proper timeframe to starve the ick out and kill it , anytime you add new fish your gonna start that cycle up again by introducing more fish which ick will feed off of .
