Need Opinion

I recently moved and had to sell my 55gallon FOWLR tank....now I am getting the itch to set up a new tank. Smaller Space is the main issues.....I am concerned that if I downsize too small I will just be settling and it will extremely limit livestock.


Originally I was thinking about a 60 gallon cube (24 x 24 x24).....but now I am wondering if I should get a Nanocube....or a red sea max 34gallon, etc.




Who has experience with the Red Sea 34g or 65?

go with the cube! it's better to have a sump vs an aio.

I had a 60 cube, 34 solana, and a 65 gallon (not redsea)
I guess it depends want to want to do. The largest tank possible will give you the most options. I would stay away from all in ones. Their lids and poor filtration make things difficult. If you want to keep it small and simple, get a solana. At least in a solana you can change whatever you'd like.

i agree 100%. The only thing thats horrible is that you have to oversize the stand do get a good sump in there. You want options and a bigger sump will do that

Or hit up custom king and get a cube sump. Deep blue sells a 21x21 cube that you can make a sump out of.
