That's a lot of fish to QT at one time. I would say to go with a 55 gallon. Do you plan on using copper? Only downside is maintaing the copper level on bigger QT tanks or we'll at least that is where I had trouble.

You may be able to get away with going for one of them 29 gallon all in one deals. I would just feel bad keeping that many fish in a small tank for 6-8 weeks. There was a really good article I read on QT tanks I will see if I can find it and post it here.

My 1st plan was to get a 40 breeder tank, metal stand, hang on filter, power head, heater, And cheap light on a timer. I would break it down afterwards. All in one would cost a bit more but would look better in living room. Trying to keep wife happy and save my fish.

I have a 55 gallon tank and stand if you want it for 75$? I would go with the 55. And if you use copper the tank is pretty much garbage after you use copper. Where do you live? I have almost everything you need for QT. Give me a call and we can talk if you want. 7327706244

I used this 55 as a QT for about 8 fish and it worked great was just a little challenge to keep the copper levels right but I had a big wet dry filter on it so maybe that was the problem. Give me a call I will help you out as much as I can! :)
