I have the MP40 WES and the battery backup and run them 24/7.
The backup is designed to power the pump at half power in the event of a power outage. One of my concerns is to keep the battery in shape by cycling it and thought I could simply use my controller to switch off the MP40 at night.
This would reduce the impeller to half power and use the battery backup. In the morning the power would turn back on and resume normal speed and the battery backup would recharge.
Any thoughts?
