please correct me if im wrong.

alright don't scare the guy. lol

it is a small tank for a Anemone to die in Keep up with the water changes and carbon from what i read that is good. Don't panic, that is how you mess up, cause you will tend to do more then you should and stress everything out more then it is already. I wish the best of luck and hope your corals start coming back, also what lights do you have on your 14g?

-Rob.

Not too sure with water changes on that tank size maybe like a 5% daily, just till things start looking good again and your water par's are back up to play and your corals are more responsive.

I checked my ammonia levels and they were 0. It was my nitrate level that tested at the highest level possible with my Red Sea test kit. I plan to test again in the morning after replacing the carbon and another 5% water change. Oh and I just saw anchorman 2 guys and it wasn't that good - not like the first one !

You don't need to limit the water changes to 5%..if your parameters are in order, you can change any amount of water...if it's still cloudy tomorrow, I (personally) would change all of it.
At this point carbon is your best friend and getting any and all stray pieces of the anemone out of the tank asap.

..and thanks for the movie review..lol ;)

question, If you do a 100% waterchange. Wont you kill your coral mess your water levels up?. never really read about changing 100% of water. gonna go research that right now.

I've done a 100% water change as long as its exactly the same salinity, cal, alk, and temp your fine. just get the water in fast and be gentle. obviously it can't be 100% if you have sand some is stuck in there and you have to leave a lil water for your fish so it's like 96% lol

Thanks Guys for the help so I did a 96 % water change lol I hope that gets the nasty water out of there but I did lose two corals my torch and a hammer :( they bleach to nothing !! But my zoas and my fish are ok so that's good news. Well looks like someone has more room for corals but not for a couple of weeks till everything get back to normal

keep skimming wet too cause your nitrates will still me high from what ever is stuck in the LR you can try blowing it off with a turkey baster and sucking some stuff out or just letting the skimmer do it you will be surprised how much detritus is stuck in the porous rock
