The fin on top is it like a regular fin or its up word and long? I have a lot of fish but my favorite was always the Dracula goby. Spent 1000's of dollars on the same fish cause I was possessed with it. They are very ski dish and they don't come out to eat and end up dying. They are fish for a small tank without other big fish that will scare them. They do pair up with pistol shrimps and have a better shot of making it. I bought them many times as a pair and other times as quadruple to see if it helps. The only thing that worked was that when you introduce them to the tank find a spot that its safe for them from other fish and also that food gets to that spot when you feed. I feed mine every day with a baster and he comes out to eat. Love the fish and still my favourite

From your picture I think yours is a Randall goby very similar to Dracula except the top fin and the red stripes are a little angled. If you paid over a 100 for it then its a Dracula cause randals are not as much.

also I think the Draculas have a faint stripe in between the darker stripes...if you got in Carle Place it may be a Hi-fin...does it have a long dorsel spike?...I thouht I remembered seeing a few there....nice fish..I'm starting to get into gobies and smaller fish with my nano.

You should have no problem with a nano keeping a Dracula and a pistol shrimp. Mike it's the coolest fish and if you pair them it will be out of this world

Hey mike live aquaria have them all the time paired with a pistol shrimp. If you don't want a pistol shrimp call them and ask if they have without. Once they show it on divers den with the shrimp that's the only way they will sell it
