I just finished setting mine up. But I can't seem to get the high level alarm to go off. Does anyone on the forum's have one of these particular ATO's and if you do can you maybe give me some advice? How far apart do you have the two sensor's (float and eye). Thanks!

Did you try just pushing the float up with your finger that will make the alarm sound right away. I have the same ato. Did you buy this ato brand new or used? Only asking because the controller alarm can be changed for different options which would require you to open it up. If it's brand new it should work the way I described. Pushing the float switch upward would make the alarm sound and trigger the ato pump to shut down. Be aware that the optical eye also may generate micro bubbles on it for a few days so monitor your tank and make sure that high level switch is doing what its supposed to because the micro bubbles can make the optical sensor think the water level has dropped and will just keep pumping water into your sump =/. If you have a small tote or bucket you can put the ato in a closed loop and just let it pump and try the float switch a few times to make sure it in fact stops the pump. If its not working either contact the place you bought it from as the switch may be defective or tunze they are great and ship quick. Let me know if you have any other questions

Adjusting the Warning Signal (if you purchased this used you may want to take a look. Hopefully the person would have advised you they changed this) You can find the instructions in the manual to change it or on tunze's website.

FYI I have my setup as this picture shows optical eye is further down a bit.. The optical eye has a sliding has a sliding option which enable you to adjust the distance between normal water level and the high level for the safety shut off to happen. It's just to make fine adjustments after you positiion the magnet where you exactly want it.
