RoMe - I've had both the 25 and 40 but on a lot bigger tanks . The 40 on the opposite end of a deepblue 80 could move the sand even with the old style of buying the adjuster from amazon set to it's lowest setting.

These powerheads are strong and the video demo shows it could easily cause a sand storm. I just want to make sure from someone's experience if it would be OK or not.

Hey rob&gab do you have any video of 2 wp25 on the 65? I have one wp25 and a maxi jet 400 on circulation mode in my 65 and I'm wondering if I should upgrade to another wp25

Hey bud, forgot about this thread. I dont have a video right now But if you do make sure you put it to correct settings cause it is a lot of flow if you dont. there on sides of glass pointed up meeting each other in the middle. ill get you a picture.

Would a wp10 with that much wave/current be too much for a 24x24 deep blue 30? I am contemplating it but from the video I don't want my sand blowing everywhere. I want something that changes current and the wp10 is very affordable for it's power and size.

i had a wp 25 on a 34 solana with no problems. little bit of sand movement but nothing that was not able to be solved, then again the way the rock structure was made helped out allot as well.

I was wondering if a jaebo wp10 would be overkill in a 8 gallon reef tank? Or should i go with 2 koralia 240 with the controller? Thanks

I currently have the wp10 on an 8 gallon tank and it is fine. I have it set to W1/S3 and the flow is just perfect. the tank is an ADA 60F and its plumbed into my main system.

I am looking into a mp10 but could go for a wp10. I like the movement in reefcrest mode and can dial in so that I don't kick up a sand storm.

I am not sure if the wp10 will cause a sandstorm or be too strong for my db30 24x24x12. In the lowest setting, s3 I believe, is still rated at 1000gph. I have like 1/4-1/2in waterline to the top of the tank before it spills over. So no waves for me. I just want to know if anyone that actually has the wp10 in almost same setup can recommend it or not.

Should be fine, there is a guy selling one for 160 in the market place.

Referring to a mp10 or wp10?

At that price point, your probably talking about the mp10. The one your probably referencing is will424 which is currently pending. Hopefully, I am next in line.

The wp10 won't be available by fish-street until 2-28 for pre-order then I have to wait for shipping. That sucks.

Aquarium Village is far from where I live and don't normally go through LI so no time frame to pick it up from there if I wanted.

That's the current downfall of picking up a wp10.
