need a plumber to install ro/ di for drinking water to refridge

had a licensed plumber come in and install an ro/di for the fridge. he had no idea what he was doing, charged me a lot and left it not working . need a plumber to fix his mistakes and assume a plumber on mr knows ro/di. water goes into system but as soon as you use it pressure drops and wont pressure up, the storage tank is full, I think he did nt hook up a drainage line for wastewater and he didn't set up the di (told my wife it wasn't needed for drinking water, I know that but do need it for fish) will pay plumber to finish/fix job. (of couse have fish equip for barter also ) have pics available, also need a drain snaked and of course need a good general plumber for future events. im in hollis hills

You shouldn't use the DI for drinking water. Just use RO for drinking.

You need to purchase a booster pump. That will add the needed pressure to your fridge.

If they can't get fast enough flow from the storage tank, the ice maker (if you have it) will 'freeze up' and be useless.

if you want some thing done right do it yourself.
if you can maintain a reef tank, i think you can get your ro working and probably were capable of installing it the right way.

I gotta second diy you will figure it out as long as u have the time I almost paid someone to plumb out my tank but the price quote I got was ridiculous so I did it myself and I'm happy I did

no way my wife will let me work on water under pressure

after all the miscues with closed tank systems over the years she is not going to let me work on a system under pressure. I have a release valve where the water comes out and then the pressure goes back up tp 40 lb and water comes out the fridge for a while. I don't think I need a booster pump becasuse water goes to fridge. the black waste water line is capped and not hooked up to anything I think that's the problem, ill post a pick of the plumbing when I get home

Ok so I was thinking u could just tap into ur kitchen sink drain which I think u still can as long as its b4 the trap ud have to research a bit more but here is a good thread !

thanks to all that sent advice (espicially matt), i got sidetracked with other issues and put this to the side. still not working right. i can get ro water from the valve my finger is on in pic one(not di) pic two is whole unit ( bladder tank is full and pressurized) pic three is the plumbing. the copper wire is the wire that goes to fridge, i get a little water and a little ice. i dont see a place for the wastewater to go, any suggestions
